Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective 19 October 2026 · Last updated 19 October 2026
1.Scope
This policy applies to Structor subscriptions, subscription credits, and any additional paid credit products offered by Structor Labs (“Structor”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
This policy must be read alongside our Terms of Service and the applicable pricing and checkout information.
Nothing in this policy limits mandatory refund, cancellation, or consumer rights under applicable law.
2.Subscription Plans and Billing
Structor offers a Free plan, which uses your own Anthropic or OpenAI API key and does not include Structor Credits, and a Pro plan at US$15 per month, which includes STRUCTOR AI with 500 Structor Credits per billing period.
The applicable price, currency, billing frequency, credit allocation, and renewal terms will be displayed before purchase.
Unless otherwise stated at checkout, a paid subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
Payments are processed by Paddle. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders; invoices and receipts are issued by Paddle, and the Paddle Buyer Terms apply to your purchase.
3.Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription through your account dashboard (Subscription page) or by contacting our support team using the details in Section 11.
Unless applicable law or the checkout terms require otherwise:
- Cancellation prevents the next subscription renewal.
- Your paid subscription remains available until the end of the current paid period.
- Cancellation does not automatically refund the current billing period.
- Credits and access after cancellation are governed by the credit rules below.
When the paid period ends, your account returns to the Free plan: STRUCTOR AI is no longer available, and you can keep using Structor with your own API key. You can resume a cancelled subscription before the period ends.
If a renewal has already been processed, cancelling your subscription ordinarily stops future renewals rather than reversing the completed payment.
Mandatory cancellation and refund rights remain unaffected.
4.Refunds
Refund requests are assessed in accordance with applicable law, the service purchased, and the circumstances of the request.
A refund may be available where:
- A payment was duplicated or processed incorrectly.
- You were charged an amount that was not properly authorised.
- A paid service was not supplied as agreed.
- A mandatory statutory refund or cancellation right applies.
- Structor approves a refund in the circumstances.
Except where the law or the checkout terms provide otherwise, changing your mind or deciding not to use a subscription does not automatically entitle you to a refund.
We will not use a blanket “no refunds” rule to override mandatory consumer rights.
5.Structor Credits
Structor Credits are usage units used to access eligible AI-powered features. They are not cash and cannot be redeemed for money, except where required by applicable law.
5.1 Free Plan
The Free plan does not include Structor Credits. AI usage on the Free plan runs on your own API key and is billed by your AI provider, not by Structor.
5.2 Monthly Subscription Credits
The Pro plan includes 500 Structor Credits per billing period, added when the payment for that period is confirmed. Pro usage is limited to 175 included credits per week (resetting on Monday at 00:00 UTC) and to a monthly usage cap, and automatic throttling may use lower-cost models when usage runs ahead of the billing period.
While a task runs, its maximum credit use is reserved; you are charged only for the usage actually incurred and the rest is returned to your balance.
Unused subscription credits expire at the end of the applicable billing period and do not roll over.
The expiry and reset dates are disclosed before purchase and displayed in your account dashboard and the desktop application.
Cancellation does not create a cash entitlement to unused credits. Where access continues through the end of a paid period, your remaining credits stay available until that period ends, in line with the disclosed plan rules and applicable law.
5.3 Separately Purchased Credit Packs
Structor does not currently sell standalone credit packs. If they are offered in future, their expiry rules will be disclosed separately at purchase.
A credit pack must not be treated as a monthly subscription allocation unless that is clearly stated in the checkout information.
Any expiry or forfeiture term remains subject to applicable consumer law.
5.4 Incorrect Credit Consumption
If a technical error causes credits to be deducted incorrectly, contact our support team using the details in Section 11.
We will investigate and, where appropriate, restore the affected credits, correct the balance, or provide another appropriate remedy.
6.Additional Usage Charges
When your included credits, weekly limit, or monthly usage cap are reached, STRUCTOR AI is unavailable until they reset — unless you have chosen the optional top-up. You can always continue with your own API key.
Top-up is off by default. It only applies if you turn it on in your account dashboard, set a monthly spending limit and confirm your consent, and also allow it for the individual task in the desktop application. Top-up usage is charged at US$1.50 per 100 credits (or the rate shown in your dashboard when you turn it on), never exceeds your spending limit, and is added to your next subscription invoice through Paddle. It is not available while a payment is overdue, and you can turn it off at any time.
A subscription purchase alone does not authorise undisclosed overage charges. Top-up charges are covered by this policy in the same way as subscription payments.
7.Technical Issues and Service Interruptions
If a technical issue materially prevents you from using a paid service, contact our support team using the details in Section 11.
Depending on the circumstances, we may restore incorrectly consumed credits, correct a billing error, extend access, or provide a refund where appropriate or legally required.
This section does not exclude remedies available under applicable law.
8.Refund Request Process
Submit refund requests using the contact details in Section 11. Please include:
- The email address associated with your Structor account.
- The transaction or invoice reference.
- The date and amount of the payment.
- A description of the issue and the remedy requested.
We aim to acknowledge requests within five business days and communicate the outcome as soon as reasonably practicable.
Approved refunds will be processed within applicable legal deadlines. The time taken for funds to appear in your account may depend on your payment provider or bank.
9.Payment Disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us so we can investigate.
You retain any rights available through your payment provider, bank, or applicable law. As Merchant of Record, Paddle can also help with questions about a charge at paddle.net.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address suspected fraud or payment abuse, subject to applicable law.
10.Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our subscription plans, billing systems, or legal obligations change.
We will publish the updated policy and provide notice where required. Changes will not remove mandatory rights associated with an existing purchase.
